Victoria will have new insulation discounts from early 2026 through the state government’s Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program. The scheme which will reduce the cost of eligible ceiling insulation installations significantly.

The program will first target households with no ceiling insulation. An estimated 200,000 homes are eligible for this initial phase which includes quality and safety standards for installers and products.
